The S.O.D.H-Systems® ensures that the two pawls are firmly anchored in the ratchet body and the springs are securely fixed. This allows for easy and secure reversal, while the force of the ratchet gear is transmitted vertically to the pawls, effectively preventing the mechanism from skipping.
With the Two-Step Dog Design, force is transmitted via two teeth of the ratchet gear, enabling higher power transmission compared to ratchets with only a single-tooth mechanism. This ratchet thus offers an optimal combination of power and precision for demanding tasks.
